Every college should be able to harness the benefits of digital technology and AI regardless of where they are starting from Today, alongside our Strategic Partner Association of Colleges, we're launching the Digital Transformation and AI Roadmap This roadmap provides a new sector-led framework that aims to help every college make meaningful progress with digital technology and AI. Developed in response to extensive sector research, the roadmap recognises that colleges are all starting from different places Some colleges are already embedding AI and digital technologies across their organisations while others face challenges around staff confidence, infrastructure, and learner access By creating a shared model for change, the Digital Transformation and AI Roadmap will help accelerate digital transformation across FE, supporting colleges in improving outcomes for learners and staff and building a more responsive, future-ready skills system where technology drives inclusion, excellence and opportunity for all As announced at Association of Colleges Digital Futures Conference this morning, we believe the Digital Transformation and AI Roadmap marks an impactful step towards a more connected, confident, and digitally enabled FE sector Highlighting the significance of the roadmap for the sector, David Hughes, Chief Executive of Association of Colleges, shared: “Ultimately, the roadmap provides a unifying framework to bring together existing activity, reduce duplication and accelerate progress across the sector.
