Today UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, we’re celebrating 75 years of discovery, innovation, and global patient impact. The institute has been a driving force behind many of the breakthroughs that have shaped modern neuroscience — from pioneering clot‑busting stroke therapies in the 1970s to innovative advanced therapies offering hope to people affected by neurological diseases around the world. Together, with the UCLH National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, we are united with a shared mission to translate neuroscience discovery research into treatments and diagnostics for patients with neurological diseases Thank you to everyone in our community who contributes to our mission -past and present - our research and professional service staff, students, clinicians, funders, charities, donors and industry partners and especially to our patients, their families and carers, who give so much. Without their enormous contribution, translating research into treatments would not be possible. Our short film series explores how Queen Square’s unique combination of research excellence, clinical partnership, and patient-centred innovation has transformed lives around the world. Visit our website to watch the full films, including features on dementia research, stroke research and care and advanced therapies. https://lnkd.in/eEQi4num Mike Hanna David Werring Laura Benjamin Sarah Tabrizi CBE MD PhD FMedSci FRS Gabriele Lignani, PhD FRSB Michael Murphy Selina Wray John Hardy
