🚨 Apply for our Grand Challenges Funding Opportunity: Climate Crisis 2026/27 UCL Grand Challenge of the Climate Crisis has launched two new funding schemes for the 2026/27 academic year, supporting bold and interdisciplinary climate-focused work across the University. Applications close: 14 May 2026 (17:00 BST) - Climate Network Accelerators: Up to £25,000 funding available per network This scheme supports the creation or expansion of interdisciplinary climate networks at UCL, helping teams collaborate across faculties to accelerate impact, strengthen research visibility, and drive sustained climate‑related activity. - Strategic Sub‑Theme Awards: Up to £40,000 funding available per project This call funds innovative interdisciplinary projects aligned to one of UCL’s strategic climate themes (Climate & Health, Future Food Systems, Climate Governance, or Blue Skies ideas) supporting high‑impact research, engagement, creative outputs or early‑stage work toward future funding.
