Responsible AI in healthcare: University of Bremen highlights Professor Yvonne Rogers' Excellence Chair research Yvonne Rogers FRS was featured in a recent edition of the University of Bremen's Up2date newsletter, reflecting on her Excellence Chair and the international collaboration between UCL Computer Science and the University of Bremen exploring responsible AI in healthcare. Over the past six years, Yvonne has led an international research collaboration exploring how AI can support healthcare responsibly, bringing together researchers from UCL Computer Science and the University of Bremen to investigate technologies including chatbots, mobile apps and virtual reality. As Yvonne says: "AI should always be viewed as a tool used in combination with other human therapies and treatments." The collaboration has resulted in influential research, supported early-career researchers, and continues to inspire new projects in responsible AI and healthcare.
