What if the next global innovation supercluster wasn’t in Boston or Silicon Valley - but in Euston? 🌍 Our CEO Anne Lane joined leaders from Camden Council, Lendlease, UCL partner hospitals and more for the 'Unlocking Inclusive Growth Through Innovation' breakfast at #Lab25 in Liverpool yesterday. They discussed this possibility and how the Euston Knowledge Quarter could exceed the growth potential of Boston's Kendall Square, with some very exciting statistics. This trajectory could add £3.5 billion to the economy, create 30,000 new jobs, and drive breakthroughs in vital areas like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and sustainable energy. UCLB is proud to call the Euston Knowledge Quarter home and be leading the momentum with: - 95 active spinouts across healthcare, AI, and tech - Over £3 billion raised in external investment over the last five years - and the creation of 2,400 jobs. Thanks to Geraint Rees for hosting the session and Chris Curtis MP, Chair of the Labour Growth Group, for his wrap up!
