Yesterday evening, UCL African and Caribbean Medics Network were proud to host an Ethnicity and Heritage in Careers Panel, in collaboration with UCLMS' EDI. This event was an opportunity for doctors to gather and discuss their experiences in the profession in a candid and open manner. It was a very informative and eye-opening event, with excellent advice from the panellists on how to navigate both medical school and professional life. A huge thank you to Dr Lois Haruna-Cooper, Dr Simi Sodeinde, Dr Chinyere Ezewuzie and Dr Begum Maitra for being such brilliant panellists! 👏🏾
