At #DDW2025, UC Irvine resident physician Yuri Kwon, MD shared a case series highlighting how a typically benign endoscopic finding — lymphangiectasia — led to the diagnosis of two rare but clinically significant diseases: Whipple's disease and duodenal-type follicular lymphoma. The presentation underscores the importance of maintaining a broad differential diagnosis in patients with unexplained iron deficiency anemia, even when initial endoscopic findings appear subtle. Watch Kwon walk through the clinical workup and outcomes of both cases.
