Méabh Byrne (24), from Clonroche, Co Wexford, grew up on a mixed tillage and dairy farm and is currently completing a masters in animal science at University College Dublin. She also works as a farm management advisor with Agri Automate. Méabh was recently named as one of five finalists in the Government’s Women in Agriculture Ambassador initiative. She believes "...the industry is ready for young girls to come into it.
