They say you never truly leave UC Berkeley; you just graduate to the next chapter. Vice Chancellor Stephen (Steve) C. Sutton, Ed.D. (he/him/his) and graduating senior Rachel spent a day in each other’s shoes. While Rachel prepares for life after Berkeley, Steve is preparing for a graduation of his own. After 22 years of service, Steve will retire this July. From his start in residential life to leading the Division of Student Affairs, he has spent his career making this campus feel like home. Congratulations to all graduating seniors, and thank you, Steve, for your incredible legacy of leadership and belonging.
