Meet Erica, People Partner Lead at Uber in São Paulo, Brazil 👋 After 4 years of growing her career at Uber, she’s sharing the 4 principles that have shaped how she works, leads, and partners across teams: 1️⃣ Think globally, act locally I’ve learned that great programs don’t scale by copy and paste. What works in one market may not work in another, and that’s where local context matters. Cultural empathy, thoughtful communication, and a willingness to listen can make all the difference. 2️⃣ Own your growth Uber gives you room to stretch, but you have to raise your hand. Some of my biggest growth moments came from spotting a challenge, taking initiative, and helping build the solution. 3️⃣ Lead with context When you’re working across teams and time zones, alignment is everything. I try to make sure people understand not only what we’re doing, but why it matters and how it connects to the bigger picture. 4️⃣ Default to trust Global collaboration works best when we assume positive intent. Trust helps teams move faster, work through friction, and stay focused on shared goals. Which lesson resonates most with you? 👇 #WhatMovesUs
