Prior to Oracle, Akram Sami, MBA held senior leadership roles at Cerner Corporation Middle East & Africa, including Vice President & Managing Director and General Manager for UAE, Kuwait, and MEA Sales, where he drove strategic expansion and major healthcare IT implementations. Earlier, at SAP, he served as Public Sector Lead for Public Services, Defense, and Healthcare, shaping digital transformation agendas across key accounts. His foundation in healthcare systems transformation was built at Dubai Healthcare City, where he managed integrated healthcare network projects including EHR and EMR implementations, data integration, privacy frameworks, and business intelligence reporting. Akram Sami, MBA holds an MBA from Lebanese American University (with distinction) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Beirut Arab University. He also holds certifications in Responsible Conduct of Research (CITI Program) and verified international academic credentials from World Education Services.
