Ukrainian defender Dmytro Sadovenko had been on the frontline since 2018. At the age of 18, he joined the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodnyi Yar. He later became a commander and was killed while saving his fellow soldiers. His fiancée, Yuliia, said that whenever she could, she visited him at his positions — and for some time, they even lived together in the Kursk region. On February 19, 2025, Dmytro was killed while carrying out a combat mission.
