ICE arrested Jairo Rossel Mejia-Mencia, of Honduras, May 29 in Beaufort County, S.C., as part of a coordinated operation with our partners from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. 👉He entered the United States unlawfully and was removed but later snuck back into the country and was arrested in Bluffton. 👉He has a pending criminal case for unlawful possession of a firearm. Mejia-Mencia will stay in ICE custody while the reinstatement of his removal order is processed. 📢Under President Trump, ICE enforces immigration law — as written by Congress — including arresting criminal illegal aliens like Mejia-Mencia and getting them out of our communities.
