Position Title: Law Clerk Under the supervision of the office’s Legislative Counsel, the Law Clerk will support the Congresswoman’s legislative and oversight work by conducting legal and policy research, preparing for and staffing Judiciary Committee hearings and markups, developing vote recommendations, and helping to advance legislation. Law Clerks will draft legal memoranda, hearing scripts, policy memos, briefing materials, and other written products. This position is ideal for high-achieving law students, preferably 2Ls or 3Ls, with a strong interest in public law, policymaking, politics, congressional oversight, or government service. Law Clerks will have the opportunity to engage in serious, substantive work across a wide range of issue areas, including antitrust, administrative law, civil rights and civil liberties, criminal justice, government reform (i.e., anti-corruption), intellectual property, oversight, privacy, technology (e.g., artificial intelligence), and voting rights. The clerkship is unpaid but may be completed for academic credit.
