📆 This week from the Chamber: Across trade, resilience, workforce, innovation, and health care, we’re turning business leadership into action—bringing together partners to advance pro-growth policies, strengthen communities, spur innovation, and help businesses create jobs and grow the economy. 🔹On Capitol Hill, we mobilized more than 70 business partners to meet with more than 60 Congressional offices and urge lawmakers to maintain a strong U.S. Mexico-Canada Agreement framework, strengthen compliance across all three governments, and provide certainty for businesses investing in North American supply chains. 🔹 The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation convened a two-day Disaster Resilience Summit in Bentonville, AR with support from Walmart, bringing together emergency managers, business leaders, nonprofits, and government officials to strengthen public-private coordination and develop a road map for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. 🔹 The U.S. Chamber Foundation’s 2026 Employer Provided Innovation Challenge (EPIC) convening brought student teams from across the country to Washington, DC, to present work-based learning solutions for real employer challenges, spanning health care, desalination, biomanufacturing, Gen Z hiring, AI-powered data searches, and financial literacy. 🔹 Ahead of Fortune’s 500 Innovation Forum this November, we hosted a dinner this week marking the Chamber’s role as an Institutional Partner. We convened business leaders for a discussion on how established companies, startups, investors, policymakers, and civic leaders can work together to drive prosperity during the AI-driven transformation ahead of the Detroit forum on November 16-17, 2026. 🔹 Our Vice President of Health Policy Lexi R. Branson joined Axios Live for its "Advancing Early Disease Care" event in Washington, D.C., which explored the future of health care access, affordability, and funding.
