Tusla has published its Annual Report for 2025, highlighting a year of unprecedented demand, sustained service development and meaningful transformation across the organisation. We received 106,444 child safety and welfare referrals in 2025, a ten percent increase on the previous year and the first time the Agency has received more than 100,000 referrals in a single year. These referrals related to 55,483 individual children, which equates to approximately one in twenty-three children living in Ireland (Census 2022).
