After 4 years, my time at FactSet has come to an end. It’s a strange feeling, closing a chapter that taught me more than I expected it to. Four years in fintech doesn’t change who you are as a designer. It sharpens you. The users are demanding, the problems are layered, and there’s very little room for design that looks good but doesn’t work. The users I designed for at FactSet didn’t need to be impressed. They needed to be unblocked. Financial analysts, ESG researchers, power users who had workflows memorised down to the keystroke. Designing for people who know exactly what they need is one of the best challenges you can have. To all the Designers, PMs, and Engineers I worked alongside at FactSet — you raised my bar. Thanks ♥️ What’s next? Something I’m genuinely excited about. More on that soon. 🔜
