Who is looking out for the people training AI to be safer? Content moderation has decades of research, advocacy, and regulatory guidance behind it, shaping wellness practices for the people who do that work. AI safety training is a newer field, and the wellness standards for the crowdworkers and contractors who evaluate model outputs, often simulating harmful actors or reviewing difficult content, are still taking shape. Spencer Huddleston from our AGI Safety team will be joining a panel to dig into this gap: Human in the Loop: Protecting the Wellbeing of AI Crowdworkers in Trust & Safety July 20, 2026 2:50 PM to 3:40 PM PT Grand Ballroom B Spencer will be joined by researchers and Trust & Safety leaders, including Jina Suh (University of Washington), Irene Huang, PhD, Stephanie Haft, PhD and Abigail S. (Anthropic), to talk through practical approaches for supporting AI trainer wellbeing, from ethical care frameworks to vendor collaboration. If you are at the event, this is a conversation worth your time. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gu6S2wEa
