Who will feed us tomorrow? 🌱 The AgriFood Landscape DACH is out now: a new map of the key B2B players across the entire value chain, from seeds and farming to packaging and side-stream valorisation. It was developed by AgriFoodHub, which we support through our Food / Agro / Biotech lab, together with Food Campus Berlin. The mapping draws on more than 600 actors, analysed with UnternehmerTUM's AI-supported classification model. What stands out: → Cross-border by nature: two out of three #startups are based in Germany, but Austria and Switzerland have strong champions and untapped collaboration potential. → Battle-tested founders: the founding wave peaked between 2019 and 2021, meaning today's players have weathered the venture downturn and are ready for serious industry partnerships. → An open door in side-streams: the busiest startup segment, yet only nine established companies operate there, a clear opportunity for corporate collaboration in #foodinnovation. This was made possible through a great cooperation with Wirtschaftskammer Österreich and Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley.
