Welcome to the TUM School of Life Sciences, Prof. Michael Pester! 👋🔬 Since July 2025, he has held the Chair of Microbial Physiology, where his research focuses on the vital ecosystem services provided by microorganisms - from driving biogeochemical cycles in soils and freshwater systems to influencing climate, water quality, and human health.
