🌟 Strong Together 🌟 This month, the Special Olympics State Games took place in Heilbronn and Neckarsulm, where 1,100 athletes competed at the highest level across 17 sports – from beach volleyball and handball to sailing. In addition to 111 delegations from across Baden-Württemberg, international teams also joined, including participants from Finland. 🌍 But it wasn’t just the athletes who gave their all: organizers and volunteers – including a 12-person team from the TUM Campus Heilbronn – also showed full commitment. Whether helping with setup, accreditation, delegation support, the inclusive non-competitive program, or media work, they ensured smooth operations and unforgettable moments. Beyond the athletic highlights, the week was shaped by connection and exchange. Heartwarming moments between people with and without disabilities showed us the true meaning of the Games’ motto: “Strong together.” Everyone has a place in our society, and many found a place in our hearts this week. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this special event and to broaden our horizons.
