During sports studies – “you’ll meet friends for life,” a teacher once told TUM Alumnus Florian Weber (Diploma in Sports Science, 2001). 🎓🤝 It’s been 30 years since he met fellow student Peter Brugger at TUM – both studying sports, both drummers in bands 🥁, both sharing the same taste in music🎶. That’s how Sportfreunde Stiller were born. Since then, the band has become a staple on German radio 📻. This year, they celebrate their 30th anniversary 🎉, have just released their new album “Happy Birthday” 💿, and are touring across Germany and Austria 🎤. The documentary “Sportfreunde Stiller – Mit dem Herz in der Hand” ❤️premiered at DOK.fest München 🎬 and is now available on ARD Mediathek & Das Erste📺.
