But pilot Fredrik Karlsson wanted to do even more than make those decisions, he wanted to help improve how they’re made. Alongside his role as a pilot, he helped develop the TUI Operational Flight Plan App 2.0, turning real-life flying experience into a digital tool that supports flight crews every day. Its Cruise Fuel Economy (ECO CRZ) feature helps pilots identify more fuel-efficient flight levels, even when original plans change. By combining aircraft performance data with real‑time conditions, the app provides clear, reliable guidance and helps pilots decide faster and with more confidence.
