Three days in Brussels with the European Commission. 🇪🇺 A valuable opportunity to observe the EU's decision-making dynamics up close thanks to the Creator Programme. Here are my three main takeaways: 🌍 Crisis Management: Accessing the ERCC operations room showed us how the EU coordinates real-time responses to international emergencies. 🏛 Policy Making: From direct discussions with the Directorates-General to the briefing with Commissioner Dan Jørgensen, we got a clear focus on the European agenda and its core priorities. 🕵️♀️ Countering Disinformation: The most relevant panel for those who daily evaluate the veracity of online sources. Studying the architecture of Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) and Russian propaganda networks provided essential analytical tools for information professionals.
