What makes students stay — not just at a university, but in a region? For many students, this isn’t just about employment, it’s about becoming part of an ecosystem during their studies. In our recent Student Teams survey of 400+ Student Team members, more than 50% said they are more likely to stay and work in the Brainport Region because of their Student Team experience. 🚦 That’s a significant signal. Student Teams: • Connect students with industry and external partners • Embed them in local innovation ecosystems • Build both professional networks and a sense of belonging This combination matters. Because retention isn’t only about jobs, it’s about connection, opportunity, and identity. In that sense, Student Teams contribute not just to education, but to regional continuity and innovation capacity. The #StudentTeams Program is part of an ecosystem within TU/e innovation Space where interdisciplinary teams tackle real-world challenges through #ChallengedBasedLearning and #Entrepreneurship. These teams play a critical role in shaping future of innovation while developing the skills needed to become the next generation of talent for the Brainport Eindhoven Region. 🎯 What do you think makes talent stay in a region?
