What keeps students engaged — not just academically, but personally? Beyond skills and career outcomes, our Eindhoven University of Technology Student Teams survey highlights something equally important: ➡️ A strong sense of belonging, community, and identity. In a recent Student Team survey of 400+ Student Team members, students describe their experience in Student Teams as: • A community of like-minded, ambitious peers • A place to build friendships across disciplines and cultures • An environment that increases motivation and engagement For many, it changes how they experience their studies altogether. From individual coursework → to shared purpose. 📢 “It's a very nice community to be a part of. I've noticed a lot of very academically ambitious students who don't get the opportunity socialize otherwise really socialize and connect a lot with members in their student team." This matters more than it might seem. Developing the engineers of tomorrow isn’t only about technical capability, it’s about collaboration, resilience, and identity within complex systems. 🔎 What has most influenced your sense of belonging in your studies or career? The #StudentTeams Program is part of an ecosystem within TU/e innovation Space where interdisciplinary teams tackle real-world challenges through #ChallengedBasedLearning and #Entrepreneurship. These teams play a critical role in shaping the future of innovation while developing the skills needed to become the next generation of talent for the Brainport Eindhoven Region.
