This past weekend, the TTC joined over 100 students at the 1UP Conference Design Jam for an afternoon filled with creativity and big ideas. 💡 Students worked in teams to develop solutions for improving transit waiting areas and had the opportunity to pitch their concepts to a panel of TTC experts. A big congratulations to the winning team – Jonathan Lee, Lucas Klemmer, Alice Tulloch, Benjamin Gray, Filip Simonovski, and Isaac Osei – for their “Platform of the Future” concept, which reimagined subway stations with enhanced accessibility, real time passenger data and community focused spaces. Thank you to our TTC judges – Curtis Batuszkin, Reka Sivarajah, Edward Donato, and Naina Dewan – as well as Alexa Kuburi and Deeksha Kooner from Disruptive Edge, for sharing their expertise and encouragement.
