Last week, business students from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland got a behind-the-scenes look at how the TTC is building a sustainable and accessible transit system. 🌱♿ The TTC was one stop on their Canadian tour, themed Designing Tomorrow – How Innovation Shapes Sustainable Urban Life and Conscious Living. During their visit to Mount Dennis Garage, students learned about the TTC’s path to net zero emissions and explored the many accessibility features built into our conventional and Wheel-Trans services. Andrew Cowles, Chief Engineer of Renewable Energy Programs; Jeff Short, Acting Manager of Customer Policy and Planning; and Debbie Gillespie, ACAT Vice Chair, led the tour and talk.
