I can’t believe it’s been two years with Aspire Afterschool Learning! I joined as a Lead Teacher and quickly grew into managing a classroom with confidence. Through strong guidance and leadership, I was able to strengthen my classroom management skills while continuing to build on my professional growth. I was fortunate to be trusted with data and program coordination responsibilities, and with the support of an incredible team, I gained even more confidence in my abilities. One of the most rewarding parts of this role has been building meaningful connections with students and witnessing how much they can grow in just one year. I’m especially proud to see our expansion in community outreach and our commitment to meeting the needs of the community beyond our after-school program. This role has taught me how to navigate the unexpected and shown me that with strong leadership, there are always ways to pivot and adapt in an ever-changing environment. I look forward to seeing what else we can accomplish this year!
