Paul has a special place in the history of the TSG ResearchLab: he was not only the first doctoral candidate to start and complete his PhD within our Lab, but also one of our very first employees after the ResearchLab was founded. In his dissertation at Goethe-Universitรคt Frankfurt, Paul focused on perceptual-cognitive skills in team sports. Using a 360ยฐ Multiple Object Tracking approach in the Helix Arena, he investigated how athletes process dynamic visual information, how these abilities can be assessed, and how they may be trained in a football-specific context.
