š§ Alzheimer's disease is the leading cause of dementia, and the approval of disease-modifying therapies like lecanemab has marked a major shift in treatment for patients with early-stage disease. As part of Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, we're highlighting research examining how lecanemab is being used in routine clinical practice. The study found that nearly two-thirds of patients remained adherent during the first six months of treatment, and most received follow-up MRI monitoring consistent with safety recommendations.
