At Triton Partners, we believe building better businesses also means sponsoring our future leaders to enable long-term success.   As part of our ongoing commitment to developing talent across the firm, we welcomed Carina Derrick from The Behavioural Design Lab back for a second session, this time designed specifically for our managers and leaders.   The session explored sponsorship from the leader’s perspective, what effective sponsorship really looks like in practice, how leaders can build strong and diverse talent pipelines, and why sponsorship behaviours are among the most powerful levers available to leaders.   One key insight was that sponsorship is not a single act, but a set of consistent behaviours developed over time, from mentorship and connection through to creating opportunity and advocating with conviction.   Triton Partners’ focus on people development reflects our belief that building better businesses starts with investing in high-performing talent as deliberately as we invest in companies.
