Trinity alumnus Finlay Ferguson (Class of 2025) has been selected for the 2026 Australian Men’s Volleyball National Training Centre “Volleyroos for 2032” Program, an elite Olympic pathway delivered by Volleyball Australia. Only 14 athletes were selected nationally. Finlay is one of just two setters chosen and the only setter from Queensland, earning his place in the NTC squad in Canberra and a clear national and international high-performance pathway. Alongside this achievement, Finlay will commence a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, balancing academic study with one of the highest levels of volleyball development in the country. This is the outcome of a community that values aspiration, supports individual pathways and takes pride in seeing students thrive well beyond graduation.
