Warm congratulations to the latest recipients of honorary degrees at Trinity College Dublin. As part of our year-long celebrations to mark 250 years of modern languages at Trinity, four outstanding individuals were conferred today with honorary degrees for their exceptional contributions to this field. Today’s recipients were linguistics and language scholar David Little, Italian scholar Corinna Salvadori Lonergan, literary translator Hans-Christian Oeser and Eda Sagarra, Trinity’s first female Chair of German. All pictured below with Provost DrLinda Doyle and Chancellor Mary McAleese.
