East Carolina RHP Sean Jenkins is built for punchouts and leverage innings. Multi-inning reliever with a sinker/slider foundation that already plays like a late-inning bullpen mix. The sinker brings heavy run and late ASR with strong ground-ball traits, while the gyro slider tunnels well off it and consistently generates whiffs and uncomfortable swings. Jenkins doesn’t need much more to get outs in bulk as the two-pitch base is already legitimate. What stands out is how the stuff holds over extended outings. The velocity doesn’t dip, the shapes stay intact, and the strikeout ability remains consistent deeper into appearances. That’s a real marker for leverage usage beyond a one-inning role. The splitter is the swing piece. If it develops into a usable third option, Jenkins moves from impact bullpen arm into a true high-leverage, multi-inning weapon with matchup flexibility against both sides. Sinker/slider already plays. The third pitch determines how loud it gets. #MLBDraft #PitchingDevelopment #Scouting #PitchDesign #ReliefPitching
