Two weeks ago, our team members, Bram Roosens and Bárbara Ferrer Lanz had the pleasure of facilitating the 2026 Think Beyond Summit together with Ageas. During the workshop, we examined key trends influencing the future of the insurance industry, including AI-driven transformations, shifting customer expectations, changing geopolitical risks, and broader societal changes. Together with the Ageas strategy team, we worked to not only understand these developments but also analyze what their potential impact could mean for the organization in practice. What made the discussions especially valuable was the diversity of perspectives in the room, with participants representing different countries and regions from around the world. One thing became very clear throughout the conversations: navigating uncertainty requires building the capability to continuously sense shifts early, challenge assumptions, and prepare for multiple possible futures. That's why we believe strategic foresight creates the most value when it becomes an ongoing capability rather than a one-off exercise.
