At the INDUSTRIEKONGRESS 2026, one of Austria’s leading industry gatherings, our board member Stefan Greimel joined key decision-makers from industry, politics and academia to discuss how Europe can remain competitive in a rapidly changing global landscape. Under the theme of a “turning point”, the message was clear: efficiency alone is no longer enough. Europe needs resilient, secure and strategically independent value chains. Stefan Greimel contributed as a speaker on “Critical materials in a fragmented world” and highlighted why access to raw materials has become a geopolitical issue – and why Europe must strengthen its own capabilities in production and processing.
