What does it take to build a new vehicle operating system at startup speed in an industry where development cycles traditionally take years? At the #TRATONGROUP, we believe the answer lies in collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to challenge conventional ways of working. Together with Applied Intuition, we are developing TRATON ONE OS, the future software foundation for software-defined commercial vehicles. 🚛💻 Within just a few months, nearly 200 TRATON engineers had joined the program, and what started as a system demo quickly evolved into prototype trucks heading for winter and summer testing. ⚡ “Most OEMs will tell you building an SDV platform takes years, and rightly so. These are complex, safety-critical systems, and they take time. This is also TRATON's experience,” says Abhishek Michael, partnership manager at TRATON R&D. “What has changed is not the problem itself, but how we've approached it. Working closely together, we've been able to move significantly faster.” 🚀 The partnership is built on openness, shared ownership, and empowering engineers to make decisions close to the problem.
