TII welcomes the Government's new Risk Appetite Statement which establishes a clear framework setting out the level and type of risk the Government is prepared to accept in order to deliver critical infrastructure more quickly. It recognises that while risks must be carefully managed, delays also have consequences, increasing costs and postponing benefits for communities, businesses, and the wider economy. Key elements include: ➡️Greater openness to financial and delivery risks; ➡️Strong support for innovation; and ➡️A pragmatic approach to litigation and environmental risks. This is a welcome development that has the potential to improve certainty, enhance delivery timelines and help bring essential infrastructure to communities across Ireland faster. Read the full press release here https://lnkd.in/dJaNr9Ee Department of Public Expenditure Infrastructure Public Service Reform and Digitalisation
