TII Archaeologist Michael Stanley recently presented at the Association of Young Irish Archaeologists (AYIA) conference in Queen’s University Belfast. With more than 100 attendees from universities across the island, the event offered a great opportunity for students and practitioners to network and hear about the research being undertaken across the island by early career archaeologists. The conference was well attended by students from NUIG, QUB, TCD, UCC, UCD, and Ulster University. 📚Michael introduced the wide range of heritage resources available through TII, including the TII Digital Heritage Collections, StoryMaps, Audiobooks and the 45 archaeology books published since 2003. He encouraged attendees to explore these materials to support ongoing understanding of discoveries made on TII projects. 📢 Call for Papers: TII Heritage Week 2026 TII Archaeology and Heritage, in partnership with AYIA, now invites early career researchers (including undergraduates) to submit proposals for the TII Heritage Week conference on Thursday 20 August 2026 in the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin.
