🎉 We are delighted to share that Transport Infrastructure Ireland has been nominated for this year’s Better Public Service Awards. The TII Climate Adaptation Implementation Plan for National Roads 2026 to 2030 has been shortlisted in the Climate Action and Sustainable Government category. This project is a joint initiative between TII and the Department of Transport and responds to the growing impacts of climate change on Ireland’s National Roads network. 🛣️ The plan addresses increasing climate risks at a time when ageing infrastructure, asset condition, and rising demand are placing greater pressure on the network. It represents a shift from reactive responses to a structured, forward-looking approach to risk management, with a focus on protecting high-value and vulnerable assets and supporting a more resilient national road network. 👏 Congratulations and best wishes to the project team involved!
