99 participants from approximately 50 NSW Government partner teams under one roof for the first time, thanks to Sydney Trains facilitating the Expert Advisory Network (EAN) Partner Forum. Why? To solve one major challenge: "How can NSW Government attract and retain a skilled rail-manufacturing workforce to meet the 50% local production target?" 🤝 Connections made: 100 senior government experts from 50 teams shared capabilities and built relationships. 🤝 Priority Lab discussions: Groups shared perspectives and explored ideas (including apprenticeship pathways, regional workforce strategies, and rebranding manufacturing roles) as a way of practising cross-agency collaboration in action. 🤝 A model for collaboration: The forum demonstrated that government has the in-house expertise to tackle complex challenges without relying on external consultancy and a model for how to bring that expertise together at scale. Next steps: The EAN continues to grow its network of partner teams, creating more opportunities for agencies across NSW Government to connect, share capability, and work together on priority challenges.
