It was great to be part of the Mobility 2026 Conference (27–28 May) hosted by ITS Australia. Yesterday, Transmax’s Brett Macpherson presented on how we’re reshaping disruption management across Queensland’s road network 🚦 — moving from fragmented, manual processes to a more connected, data-driven approach. Managing incidents, roadworks and major events has traditionally required navigating multiple systems with limited visibility across the network. In the session, Brett shared how integrating roadwork permit data from TMR’s PARC system into the STREAMS Disruption Management environment is helping change that. By enabling machine-readable data ingestion, operators can access earlier and clearer insights into planned works, including location, timing and key contacts, without manual handling. This creates a more unified view of disruptions and supports faster, more informed decision-making in real time. It was a great opportunity to showcase how this approach is helping lay the groundwork for more connected and responsive transport networks, improving outcomes for both operators and road users. #Mobility2026 #SeamlessMobility #ITS #TransportInnovation #SmartMobility #DataDrivenTransport #RoadSafety
