On #EarthDay, we’re recognizing the importance of strong environmental leadership in protecting the ecosystems where we operate. Throughout his career, Ken Munch, a Senior Environmental Specialist at TransAlta, has demonstrated exceptional commitment to environmental stewardship. Over the past year, Ken led multiple fish rescue efforts across our hydro operations, including a major initiative on the Spray Canal system, where approximately 7,800 fish from eight species were safely relocated ahead of construction. His approach emphasizes collaboration and education, fostering a shared responsibility for environmental protection.
