It was a pleasure to attend GXO Logistics, Inc.'s Driver and Operator of the Year 2026 on Wednesday. Congratulations to the 192 truck and van drivers, and forklift operators who took part, demonstrating the exceptional skills, professionalism and knowledge that help keep our roads, workplaces and supply chains safe. Special congratulations to those who secured a place in the top three of each category! The event was also a fantastic opportunity to speak with GXO colleagues about Transaid's professional HGV and PSV driver training programmes in sub-Saharan Africa and celebrate our valued partnership. A huge thank you to GXO for hosting a racing simulator challenge in support of Transaid. Thanks to everyone's generosity, almost £500 was raised to help improve road safety and access to healthcare across sub-Saharan Africa.
