Today, at the Great American State Fair, Tractor Supply Company President and CEO Hal Lawton joined U.S. Agriculture Department Secretary Brooke Rollin, Jill Bramble, President and CEO of National 4-H Council, and David Goldman, Vice President of Satellite Policy at SpaceX to announce an alliance to help bridge the digital divide in rural America. Reliable internet access creates opportunities—for education, workforce development, healthcare and economic growth. Yet millions of people in rural communities still lack access to the connectivity they need. - Tractor Supply Company is donating $500,000 to National 4-H Council to launch the initiative. - Starklink is providing 100 Starlink kits and service to 4-H clubs serving rural youth, expanding access to STEM education and workforce development opportunities and creating ongoing support for 4-H through eligible Starlink purchases at Tractor Supply. For more than 15 years, Tractor Supply and 4-H have partnered to invest in the next generation of rural leaders. By welcoming Starlink to this effort, we're building on that commitment and helping create new opportunities for young people to learn, grow and thrive—no matter where they call home. Because when rural communities are connected, they are stronger. #LifeOutHere #4H #Starlink #RuralBroadband #STEM #RuralCommunities #CommunityImpact
