🌍 Supporting the energy transition in Côte d’Ivoire Tractebel took part in the Belgian Economic Mission to Côte d’Ivoire (May 31 – June 5, 2026), organised by Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX), hub.brussels and FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade. 🤝 Represented by Zohra M'TALSSI M’Talssi (Product Manager, T&D) and Thierry Cardinael (Business Development Manager), we engaged with key stakeholders including IVORY ENERGIES CI  COMPAGNIE IVOIRIENNE D’ÉLECTRICITÉ, the Ministère des Mines, du Pétrole et de l'Energie, as well as International Financial Institutions  such as The World Bank Group, Agence Française de Développement, KfW, European Investment Bank (EIB), Millenium Challenge Corporation,  EBRD, Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement, Banque investissement et de développement de la CEDEAO and Enabel. ⚡ With rapidly growing electricity demand and ambitious energy transition targets, Côte d’Ivoire is positioning itself as a strategic energy hub in West Africa. Leveraging our expertise in power networks , renewables energy, hydropower, thermal generation, gas/LNG and smart solutions (smart grids, storage), Tractebel is ready to contribute to building a reliable, sustainable and resilient energy system in the country. We were also honoured to attend the reception hosted by H.E. Carole van Eyll, Ambassador of Belgium in Côte d’Ivoire, alongside key actors from the energy and water sectors. 👏 Thank you to the organisers and all partners for the high-quality exchanges.
