🚀 Tractebel contributes to shaping Europe’s next era of space exploration!   🌑 NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Artemis II crew historic journey around the Moon this week, the first crewed deep‑space flight in more than 50 years, reminds us that farther space missions will require a leap change in propulsion technology. 🌌Nuclear-electric propulsion (NEP) can precisely be that leap: its combination of high engine efficiency and power generation can enable exploration and in-space logistics in Earth orbit and beyond on a scale that neither chemical nor solar-electric propulsion could ever provide. ⚛️ This is why we are honoured to have contributed to European Space Agency - ESA's Rocketroll study, leading one of three consortia tasked with investigating NEP for future European spacecraft — work that builds naturally on Tractebel's long-standing nuclear expertise, now extended into the space domain. 🤝 With RocketRoll now moving toward lab‑scale testing, Europe is laying the foundations for its next generation of deep‑space missions.
