👉 What does it take to scale hydrogen solutions?  It starts with real-world testing.   Toyota Nederland has signed an agreement with Rotterdam the Hague Innovation Airport (RHIA) to support the integration of hydrogen technology in ground service equipment - contributing to the growing hydrogen ecosystem around Rotterdam.   Shinichi Yasui 安井慎一, Executive Vice President Toyota Motor Europe said: 💬 “RHIA projects provide a practical platform to accelerate hydrogen ecosystem development, supporting Toyota’s vision of hydrogen’s role across multiple mobility sectors. Early demonstrations of our fuel cell technology on our Hilux Prototype have highlighted the potential of such real-world applications.”   💡Why RHIA matters?  • A live airport environment to test solutions under real conditions  • Collaboration across the value chain - OEMs, energy providers, airports and policymakers  • A platform to address key challenges such as refuelling, distribution and system integration   As part of this collaboration, Toyota will contribute to a dedicated working group focused on introducing hydrogen-powered ground service mobility in the coming years. RHIA’s focus on hydrogen-powered aviation, energy systems and infrastructure readiness aligns with Toyota’s strategy to scale fuel cell technologies beyond road transport.   ➡️ The objective: validate hydrogen in demanding operations - complementing battery-electric technologies, particularly where fast turnaround and longer operating ranges are required. #hydrogen #fuelcell #hydrogenecosystem
