The Consumer Protection Cooperation (CPC) Network has adopted a Common Understanding to deal with old stock of products placed on the market before the date of application of the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition (ECGT) Directive. ๐ค TIE: Toy Industries of Europe Industries of Europe, alongside 17 European business associations, ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป. Disproportionate measures create unnecessary costs and, most importantly, environmental harm. Measures such as forcing the destruction of products already placed on the market and their packaging must be avoided. ๐ข TIE calls on all stakeholders involved to respect this ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต.
